(Cape Canaveral, FL) - Four astronauts are scheduled to blast off on this April Fool's Day and circle the first full moon of the month.

Wednesday night's full moon is called the Pink Moon because it coincides with the spring blooming of pink wildflowers.

The full moon ushers in Easter week and also coincides with the scheduled launch of NASA's Artemis Two lunar mission.

The two-hour launch window begins at 6:24pm Eastern at Cape Canaveral and will take four astronauts on two trips around the Earth before orbiting the moon.

It will be the first crewed mission to the moon since 1972.
