(Orlando, FL) -- Walt Disney World sets record high ticket prices for 2027 vacation packages.
The Florida theme park rolled out its pricing through October 2027, and the most expensive one-day ticket will cost $219 pre person on President's Day weekend.
Peak ticket prices this year reached $209.
But when Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom opened 1971 a single day pass was $3.50 for an adult and $1.00 for a child. Then there was a complex pricing system for the rides with each requiring a separate ticket.
EPCOT tickets take the steepest jump, $15 per ticket for at peak levels, while Magic Kingdom rises by $10.
Out west, Disneyland's peak ticket has reached $224.
Disney is offering some discounts to try to draw visitors in during the summer months, but with stripped back perks.
The ticket price increase helps to manage crowd levels as part of Disney's demand-based pricing strategy. Also, it helps fund park expansions like the upcoming Villains land and a reimagined “Tropical Americas” area at Animal Kingdom.
