A former Best Buy delivery driver is sentenced to life in prison for the 2019 murder of a Boca Raton woman. Prosecutors say Jorge Lachazo, of Hialeah, had just delivered a washer and dryer for 75 year old Evelyn Udell, when he beat her with a mallet and set her on fire.
The 24 year old Lachazo confessed, telling police a voice in his head told him to hurt her. His charges range from first-degree murder, burglary, to arson.
