Lightning Fall To Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs (30-16-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (25-17-3) 5-3 on Monday night in Toronto.

Auston Matthews scored in his fourth straight game for Toronto and added an assist. The Lightning got two goals from Nick Paul and a goal from Darren Raddysh in the losing effort.

Jonas Johansson got the start in the first game of a back-to-back, and converted 23 saves in the 27 shots he faced on net.

The Lightning are next in action in the second game of a back-to-back when they head to Montreal to play the Canadiens on Tuesday night. Puck drop from Montreal is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Tuesday night.
