The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is set to "out rock" Rockefeller Center this holiday season.
In a new holiday tradition, the 24 acres of the Guitar Hotel pool will be decorated with more than 20 unique displays and over 2 million lights.
According to the hotel website: "Watch the iconic Guitar Hotel turn into a giant canvas as synchronized lights dance to holiday hits, wrapping the building in dazzling color. Enjoy festive treats, photos with Santa, and capture magical moments in immersive holiday scenes designed for the whole family. Don’t miss the limited time Guitar Hotel holiday light show featuring holiday hits synchronized to a dazzling light spectacle that brings the season to life."
The festivities kick off November 29th, 2025, and run through January 3rd, 2026.
Meanwhile, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is being cut down today so it can begin its journey to New York City.
A 75-foot-tall, eleven-ton Norway Spruce is being donated by the Russ family in the community of East Greenbush, New York which is just south of Albany.
It will be hoisted at the plaza on Saturday and lit up December 3rd.
