The Florida Gators (4-8) defeated the Florida State Seminoles (5-7) 40-21 on Saturday evening in Gainesville. With the loss, the Seminoles will now miss a chance at a bowl game and it will be the final game of the season for both of the in-state rivals.
Jaden Baugh ran for a career-high 266 yards and two touchdowns for the Gators - the second most rushing yards in school history. DJ Lagway went 15-for-24 with 168 yards passing and three touchdowns through the air.
Tommy Castellanos went 17-for-28 with 240 yards passing for the Seminoles - he also threw for three touchdowns and an interception. He was the Seminoles leading rusher on the night with 77 yards and another touchdown on the ground.
Both teams season is over as the Gators and Seminoles will both look ahead to the 2026 season.
