(Miami, FL) - Apparently, things got chippy yesterday during the joint practice between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.
Multiple players, including former FSU QB Jameis Winston, were removed for fighting, according to ESPN.
Winston, now Giants' signal caller was in the middle of a scrum and took a punch from a Dolphins player, per the outlet.
Players from both teams were removed from the Baptist Health Training Complex field after participating in multiple scuffles
Before practice began, Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley said he’d be “very, very disappointed” if players threw punches and that anyone who did would be kicked out from practice for punching and shoving, per ESPN.
Giants quarterback Jameis Winston and right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, as well as Dolphin’s offensive tackle Austin Jackson were among the ejected players.
Saturday's game between the Dolphins and Giants at Hard Rock Stadium should be interesting.
