(Tallahassee, FL) - Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's associate, is getting massive attention amid turmoil over the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein case.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche says Justice Department prosecutors will meet with Maxwell behind bars. She is currently serving 20 years in a federal prison in Tallahassee for her role in the Epstein sex trafficking case.
The House Oversight Committee has also issued a subpoena for Maxwell to be deposed on August 11th at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee, according to Rep. James Comer.
Republican Representative Scott Perry also just sent a letter to the bureau of prisons requesting that Maxwell be placed in a Special Housing Unit immediately for her own protection.
